Novra

The world of Novra has a long and rich history. Once the birth place of the Fae, the planet was left abandoned for millennia after the unexpected invasion of terrifying beasts called the akaran. No one knows where the akaran came from, but the beasts' incredible strength, ferocious claws and teeth, and indomitable power left the Fae with no choice but to leave their homeland. They fled Novra in a grand exodus, ascending to the ethereal plane where they have lived near-eternal lives ever since. Such ancient stories however, have long been forgotten, or perhaps, such history has simply been neglected by those who wish their humble beginnings to remain a mystery. Millennia later, the planet of Novra was adopted by a new race of peoples. Beings half of magic and half of mortality, the Nevma were created when the ancient god Savule joined his magic with the tangible, birthing an entirely new race. Much like a hermit crab moving into another's abandoned shell, the Nevma moved into Novra. They built their cities and towns surrounded by the ancient ruins of the Fae's forgotten cities, ignorant to the true origins of the astounding structures before them. Unlike most gods who rule from a distance, Savule chooses to rule his people from a throne in the capitol. He resides in the domr of Vesoni, and commands the Nevma with all the power and respect due to one of the ancient gods.
